The lights are on ... Traditional Cache
sderraugh: The cache was still there (cracked and soggy) but I removed it today and decided to archive it. I don't get up to Victoria Harbour as often as I used to, and the area has changed a lot since I placed it in 2007; different trailheads and way more poison ivy. So long!

This cache takes you past the Victoria Harbour Lighthouse. This lighthouse, along with the one at Hope Island and several others are part of the Huronia Lightstations. For more information, visit the Huronia Lightstations Preservation society at http://www.hlps.ca/.
The cache is near the Victoria Harbour Lighthouse, along a trail. The trailhead is at the corner of Newton Street and William Street, and it is a short walk from there to the cache.
Note: Many people have said they missed the lighthouse. It is found on the main trail. If you start at the corner of Newton and William, you will pass right by it. If you come from Florence Street, walk a little further along the main path and check it out!
