Geocache Description:

This cache cannot be reached by auto.

I recommend a 4WD vehicle for anyone who tries this cache. The drive is over primitive roads with rocks and dust pockets. The cache is located adjacent to an abandoned stone building. The petroglyph's are located on the opposite side of the road (trail)from the stone house towards the bluff. The house is shaped in form of a "T" which is how early missions were constructed (symbolic of a cross) hence the name of the original cache. This area is also referred to as Wees Bar and may be just an old stone ranch house. Either way it is interesting. I placed a cache here to make it easier for people to find and provide another cache in the area.

The cache container is a small decon kit (slightly larger then a band aid box) and contains a few small items and a 101 year old 1906 American "V" nickel. Please replace the cache back as found to avoid muggles.

Plan on an easy hike and take your camera. There are numerous petroglyphs in the area. Please do not disturb the ruins. Take the Murphy Flat Road, Turn right onto Warick Road (N43° 12.363' W116° 26.058'), left onto the dirt road at (N43° 12.363' W116° 24.853') and finally right at (N43° 14.525' W116° 24.857'), follow the two track along the fence to the gate take the road towards the river and follow it downstream until it ends. Park at the gate and enjoy the hike.
