This cache is part of the 2007 Ohio State Parks Challenge.
The cache is located along the Logan's Trail and is a Folgers Coffee Container. This will be a VERY LONG HIKE. Bring water! I suggest parking at horse camp for this one.
You want to bring a buddy and park one vehicle at one end and another at the other end and hike through. It is about 5 miles long. It would make for a very long but nice day. DONT TRY TO BUSHWACK TO THE CACHES. FOLLOW THE TRAIL.
This cache is part of the 2007 Ohio State Park Challenge. There are 20 caches located in 5 parks throughout the Portage Lakes Region. These parks include, Jefferson Lake, Beaver Creek, Guilford Lake, Quail Hollow and Portage Lakes.
This challenge begins on Memorial Day 2007 and ends Labor Day 2007.
THE CHALLENGE: Find 19 caches that will give you speicific clues to help you find the final cache site, #20.
You will find a clue in each cache. The clue represents one character that is found in the coordinates of the final cache, #20. Use each of these clues to determine the correct combination for the final cache coordinates. (the letters, numbers and points are used. The degree mark will be with it's number)
EX. N 4 0' 2 8 . 3 0 2 W 0 8 0' 4 8 . 5 4 2 ('Degree mark)
CAHCE #20: THERE WILL BE NO CACHE AT THIS SITE. The site will be obvious. Once you think you are there, take a picture WITH YOU IN THE PHOTO and email it to me. Be sure to take a wide picture so I can see the surroundings if you are slightly off. HINT: DEJA VU!!
Once you email me the correct location WITH YOUR PICTURE, your name will go into a drawing.
ANNOUNCING THE WINNER: The drawing will take place at the 2007 Ohio State Parks Challenge GeoBash at Portage Lakes State Park on Sept 22, 2007. Other prizes will be awarded as well. You must be present to win. After all, you spent the time to find all the caches, you deserve to be there to recieve your prize if your name is drawn.
