Up a sand trail just off of Highway 101 near Lakeside Oregon
This cache was given to us by a fellow cacher, Lost Patrol. He figured the cache needed to be at the coast because of the contents. He knew we spend summers as camp hosts at the coast and decided to let us hide it.
You are looking for a regular sized cache that contains a large collection of drink coasters. You may trade any item you want or feel free to take a coaster just to make some room.
We hid the cache in the non-motorized area of the Oregon Dunes. It is located west of Highway 101 near the south Lakeside turnoff. There is plenty of safe parking within a couple hundred feet of the cache. You will need to climb up a sand trail to the cache which is the reason for the terrain rating.
Please rehide the cache well as this area does get foot traffic from people who want to access the dunes without paying a fee to park at the nearby trailhead.
Thanks again to Lost Patrol for the cache.
