Christmas Cache Traditional Cache
Safarichick & Rotoman: Hi, everyone,
I'm glad cachers have enjoyed coming to this little park for a couple years now. I think at this time there are some older kids who are hanging out in the wooded area of the park, and they must have found the cache and taken it. I think they would do the same if I placed a new cache in the same park, so I am just going to archive this place. Thank you to everyone who came.

Here is an easy cache in a little-used park.
The Christmas Cache is a small square plastic container with -- what else? -- a Christmas theme. It started out with a Christmas angel travel bug, red and green glitter pens, Santa barrettes, a snow globe, a Christmas bow and of course a log book and pen. Please help keep the Christmas theme going with holiday items, or at least red or green items.
This find is in a small neighborhood park. Don't let the size or the fact it's in a neighborhood deter you, however. We have seen a lot of wildlife here, where a mitigation wetland was installed several years ago. Look for red-bellied woodpeckers, white ibises, monk parakeets, iguanas, snakes, mockingbirds, European starlings, common grackles, blue jays, cardinals, orioles, green-backed herons and even basilisk lizards. The wetlands are pretty in the wet season when there's water. There are a small playground for the kids and picnic tables if you want to do more than look for the cache.
Have fun!
