Located about 30 feet off a concrete trail in Cravens Park. Might
be real muddy after a recent rain. Cacher with stroller would be
able to keep an eye on a stroller left on the concrete path.
Distance from parking is about .2 miles. Concrete path all the way.
Back in March of 2002, a cacher that goes by HalDodd placed a
couple of caches in Cravens Park. We did both of them when we first
started caching. Snake Sidewalk II and Snake Sidewalk. Snake
Sidewalk (GC3F2D) was just archived at the beginning of this month
after five years of giving cachers the thrill of finding it. 187
finds were recorded on this simple little cache planted in the Y of
a tree and very close to the trail. When we planted this (our)
cache, we checked and HalDodd's pod was still in the Y of that
tree. Nothing was in the pod and at first we thought we should just
use his pod and the original hiding spot. But, that might not be
fun for cachers that had already done Snake Sidewalk, so we picked
a different spot not too far from HalDodd's. It sure would be nice
if our cache should last so long and get as many successful finds.
