Are you smarter than a fifth grader? Come to the event and find out!
With the success of last year's Harry Potter event, I've been wracking my brain trying to think of another fun theme. So this is it.
You can have any number of players on your team, but all team members must use the same vehicle. It might help to have a fifth grader on your team! This game will be as easy or difficult as you make it. Some caches are easy, some are tough. You only need to find about half of them.
We'll meet up for donuts and sign in at the Seip Mound shelterhouse at 10:00am. Course syllabus will be distributed at 10:15am with class starting promptly at 10:30.
Final exam will be at the Fort Hill shelterhouse at 5pm. The event will be family friendly with a potluck at the end. We'll bring meat for everyone (don't get your hopes up, I can't cook), if y'all can bring sides and desserts and snacks. We'll also provide paper goods and plasticware. Bring your own beverages (non-alcohol please) and a chair.
Cost will be $10 per team. Each team will receive a geocoin and a chance to win some great prizes.
THERE ARE ONLY 50 COINS. One per team and then the remainder will be sold for $8 each. In case of more than 50 teams, those teams logging a 'will attend' will get a coin first, then the first teams to register at the event. Anyone else will receive one of our personal coins instead.
