Geocache Description:

The Allegheny Overlook Micro is located in Cadogan, Pennsylvania. Cadogan was the site of the Cadogan #1 coal mine which opened in 1926. While here, sit down and relax for a few minutes and try to visualize what this company town might have been like when the mine was active. The parking lot next to the overlook was the site of the company store.

While in the area you can check out three caches located on Pennsylvania Game Lands 247 just a few miles from the overlook. Picture This [GCTYM9], The Hunt [GCXVY3] and Game Lands 247 Pond Box [GCQFZ7]. If you drive north on route 128 and cross the river to the south end of Ford City you can find the Tub Mill Run Trail cache [GCVA8Z].

The cache was placed with two stub pencils in it, but you just never know. To be safe, BYOP (Bring Your Own Pencil).
