Geocache Description:

Heath Ranch Park is home to Carpinteria’s Historical Landmark #2, which are the remains of a 2-story adobe home once occupied by prominent Carpinteria settler Russell Heath. Heath was an attorney who became Santa Barbara District Attorney, California State Legislator, and the 1st elected Sheriff! Not to mention a walnut farmer! In addition to the remains of the adobe home once occupied by Mr. Heath, one can also view the original fountain that once sat in front of his home.

This park also has some magnificent Eucalyptus trees on the property, which are exquisite. Plus a playground for children and plenty of space to play Frisbee, etc. Happy Hunting!!
