THE START POINT FOR THIS CACHE, NEAR THE INTERSECTION OF LANSDOWNE & ASHBURNHAM, IS A PLAQUE GIVING A BRIEF HISTORY OF DOWNERS CORNERS. THERE ARE TWO NUMBERS ON THIS PLAQUE, DATE OF SETTLEMENT AND LAND AREA. MARK YOUR LOCATION AND CALCULATE NEW CO-ORDINATES AS FOLLOWS;

1. NORTH CO-ORD + DATE - 1754
2. WEST CO-ORD + AREA - 126

MAKE YOUR WAY TO THE NEW CO-ORDINATES, WHERE YOU WILL FIND A SIGN DESCRIBING THE IMMEDIATE LOCALE. MARK YOUR POSITION AND NOTE THE NUMBER OF WORDS ENDING IN "...OLOGY" THAT APPEAR ON THE SIGN. USING THIS NUMBER (Y) CALCULATE THE CACHE LOCATION AS FOLLOWS;

3. NORTH CO-ORD + (YxYxY) - 6
4. WEST CO-ORD + (YxYxY) - 81

CACHE IS WELL CAMOUFLAGED, IN PLAIN SIGHT. PLEASE HANDLE WITH CARE AND REPLACE IT AS YOU FOUND IT.
