2007 Fall Picnic Meet & Greet
New Castle, Indiana
September 7, 2007

Kicking off the 2007 Fall Picnic weekend with a Friday evening Meet and Greet. There is a twist on this year’s event. VEGGIE SOUP! Yum!

Everyone is asked to pull out those recipes and whip up a
batch of your favorite homemade vegetable soup. We’ve tested the concept of a veggie soup dump and the results were delicious.

Hot dogs, buns, condiments, plates, bowls, napkins and plasticware will be provided. All you need to bring is non-alcoholic drinks and your homemade veggie soup (not frozen or canned, please).

The event will be held at the picnic shelter at Memorial Park in New Castle. The night begins at 7:30 p.m. and closes promptly at 10:00 p.m.

INDIGO MYSTERY NIGHT CACHE - BAD MAJEC STYLE

This year's night cache is being held on Friday night, beginning at 9:00 p.m.promptly at N 39 56.939 and W 085 23.166. The Cache is a competition against other teams, it is in your best interest to keep information to yourself. You will receive information that will send you to the
second stage and each stage will reveal information to the following stages. Terrain difficulty is rated at a 2 1/2 or 3 with the higher level being for distance. Round trip could take you .71 miles to complete. There is NO need to go off marked trails while walking to each destination. Bushwacking is forbidden. There are 4 stages to the cache. Don't forget your flashlights and a pencil or pen.

The park locks its entrance at 11:00 p.m., so don’t get caught behind closed gates.
