This 3-stage cache is located on state land at the James Farm Walleye Rearing Ponds near the Thunder Bay River. The James Farm is no longer here, but there is a foundation left from one of the buildings. Cache was rated assuming cachers were walking from Stage 1.
There are roads in the area that may (with the right vehicle) allow you to drive the entire route, but finding out which one may be a little tricky. I was able to get my all-wheel drive vehicle down to the river, but wouldn’t recommend it to everyone. The road is washed out in areas. This is a great area to walk & for the most part you will stay on the road. The first 2 stages are micros that shouldn’t be too difficult to find. The final stage is a medium-sized Rubbermaid lock & lock container. It’s filled with the usual log book and goodies.
