Geocache Description:

A location at the end of a road and the beginning of a foot trail on the Crow Wing portion of the Trans Canada Trail.

"Look for an old abandoned farm yard in the pasture to the east. Imagine what it used to look like, with kids running around, clothes hanging on the line and the farmer plowing the field with his horse…"MRTA
This small container cache is hidden in an oak tree. The Trans Canada visuals of the local wildflowers and prairie grasses were here when we originally placed a cache but are now removed temporarily. The description above is interestingly from the Trans Canada Trail book and now it seems someone is moving onto the old abandoned farmyard! This is why our first cache was destroyed. We used the gravel road access point near St. Malo Park's back door to hide it. An interesting area.
This cache was created to add to the number of QUALITY caches hidden in Manitoba. It is an official cache in the MBGA Cache Splash event.
Category 7: Cache hidden at least 500m from a paved road.
