Where are the stupid boundaries between cities around here?
This cache is at the junction of Vista, Carlsbad, and Oceanside. The boundaries around here are ridiculous. But you can see San Clemente Island from here on a clear day, so it's got that going for it.
This cache is for storing travel bugs, actually or virtually. It can hold any size, virtually. We all have bugs that we'd like out of our queues but for whatever reason, we can't leave them anywhere permanently yet. This is the cache for those travel bugs. Leave them here for as long or short a period as you need. We don't mind if they stay 30 seconds or 30 years. If they won't actually fit in the container then just leave them here virtually. We really don't mind. We have in fact left at least eighteen geocoins here virtually. If you'd like to discover them in conjunction with your visit just let us know and we'll see if we can arrange it.
