What is a letterbox? Well it's another type of hide-n-seek game.
There is no cache swag, nothing to trade. Simply a notebook and a
rubber stamp to represent the cache. There are two stamps in mine
(a car and a dog, I think). What you're typically supposed to do if
you are letterboxing is find a letterbox, stamp your "logo" into
the log book and use the stamp from the letterbox to stamp your
personal log book.
A letterbox listed on the Letterboxing North America site
http://www.letterboxing.org/ is hidden using clues only. In order
to merge this idea with Geocaching, I am listing the coordiates to
a tree that is near my Letterbox. The tree has been used by many to
profess their endearing love or some sort of sentiment. I'll call
it the graffiti tree.
You may want to park at the parking coordinates listed to begin
your hike. You will walk about 7/10 of a mile on an orange blazed
trail until you see the graffiti tree on your left (follow your
GPS, I gave you the coords to the tree!) Once you find the graffiti
tree, you will want to stop walking and start hunting the cache.
The cache will be found about 20-30 downhill of the tree. Don't go
uphill, don't go across the trail from graffiti tree, don't go
beyond the graffiti tree, as the cache is on the same side of the
trail as the graffiti tree! I don't think you will have trouble
with muggles on this trail as it is not used frequently, but please
use care not to give away the cache location and PLEASE RECOVER THE
CACHE!!!

And to make this really easy there are some coordinates hiding
on the page. They are the cache coordinates.
