Locket's Long Length Traditional Cache
TheMightyFinn: I think it's time to put this one to bed! As mentioned before the fields have been made into one, with no obvious mid point suitable for a cache hiding place. I also no longer live near this area so it would be difficult to maintain. Thanks to everyone who found and enjoyed it!

No it's not the American mid-West...it's Ashford! A nice, easy cache with a pleasant walk through fields of corn.
As a favourite walk of geohound's I decided that it needed a cache! This area of Ashford is dotted with footpaths, including a section of the Greensand way. My usual walk carries on from the cache site and follows footpaths up to the woods at the top of the hill, looping back around into the outskirts of the town.
The cache is placed not far from a road, known locally as 'Long Length'. Parking is available along this road, but please be aware it is a popular cut through and can be very busy.
When placed, the cache (a small, green container) contained a selection of small trades, log book and pencil and a certificate for the First to Find. The area is full of foliage of the spikey kind, so gloves are recommended!
If you do decide to continue on your walk please be aware of cows in the fields - so geohounds on leads and stick to paths.
