The ten pictures below were all taken within seven miles of the posted coordinates, near well-known trailheads in Salt Lake County. You are to determine the coordinates of the spot where each picture was taken. In each case, you can reach the spot by walking no more than 200 paces along a trail from where the pavement ends.
When you have done this, put the pictures in order according to the heading from the posted coordinates to the spot where each picture was taken. The picture that was taken from the spot with the smallest heading should come first, and the picture that was taken from the spot with the largest heading should come last.
There is a number next to each picture. Let's call the number of the first picture in the ordered list A, the number of the second picture in the ordered list B, and so on through J.
The cache is hidden at a heading of AB.CDE degrees and a distance of FGHIJ feet (ignoring elevation differences) from the posted coordinates.
Don't try to project over such a long distance with your GPSr. There are better ways to do long-distance, high-precision projections!
The cache is in a decon container. The best route to the cache begins with a popular trail and ends with a scenic ridge traversal.
