This cache was originally dedicated to Marilyn my sister-in-law who passed away. Now, with a heavy heart, I must add my beloved granddaughter Maggie to the dedication. Please click on the Related Web Page link above to meet Maggie. After finding this cache, please take a moment to sit with Maggie and enjoy the view. Her special bench is close by and I'm sure she would enjoy a few moments with you.
Maggie was the bright star that left us way too soon. She was a beautiful young woman inside and out. She is missed by many and forever be constantly in my thoughts. The cache is in an area that is near the water, so please keep an eye on the children. There is a little brush and some small elevation to deal with, but it is not in a difficult spot. Part of the challenge of this cache is finding it without being spotted. The cache is in an area that you can easily be seen so use discretion. On the other hand, there are many times this area is free of people. Please consider searching for the cache at these times. This cache was not placed so much for the challenge of finding it, as it was to bring people to a wonderful spot. This is a beautiful area with interesting things to see and do close by. I decided to place the cache here to bring people to a peaceful spot where they could take a few moments to think about family and friends, present, future and past. Here is a place that is a site for new beginnings and loving memories. At times you will see couples beginning their lives together here and at other times you might see a person reflecting on wonderful times in the past. If you look along the lake at the right time of year you very well might see a pair of ducks or geese with their young trailing behind. That seems to tie it all together. Please respect the area. If you see any special occasions going on, enjoy watching them in an appropriate manner and search for the cache at another time. You are searching for a medium sized Lock N’Lock container large enough for trades, painted to make the find a bit more challenging. ***Congratulations to chrobak_and_chrust for FTF.***
