Geocache Description:

A short walk along the waterfront trail in Orillia.

This is a fairly simple, two-stage multi.

All along the Lightfoot Trail in Orillia are signs with interesting historical facts about the city. The posted co-ordinates will take you to one of these signs. Answer the questions below, do a little arithmetic, and you will find the location of the cache!

During World War II, the boatworks that was at this location was converted from making pleasure craft to military vessels.

How many Fairmiles were made here?
In feet, what was the length of this vessel?
In knots, what was the speed of this boat?

Add these numbers together to get a 3 digit number ABC

What year did the JH Ross Canoe and Boat Company open?
What year was the final fire at Hunter boats?

The difference between the two dates is a 3 digit number DEF

The cache can be found at N 44 36.(254+ABC) W 079 24.(091+DEF). It is a 600ml, locking plastic container
