This is a multi-stage cache on reclaimed, abandoned mine land on the border between Johnson and Martin counties.
This is a multi-cache. The first stage is a camouflaged 35mm film canister containing the coordinates for the second stage. The second stage is in an area that yields delicious blackberries in the summer months. The cache itself is a gallon-size, camouflaged, screw-top container that can hold lots of trade items. It has been well-stocked and shouldn't be too hard to find once you get the first stage out of the way.
Note: It is possible to drive to within a few feet of this cache, but it would require a 4-wheel drive vehicle. For those of us with 2-wheel drives, you can park just off the black top and it is a short hike up the hillside to the cache. It's nothing strenuous, but there is a 30 to 40 foot change in elevation over 100 feet or so. It shouldn't take more than 5 minutes from the parking area to the cache location by foot.
