Yennadon Down being just off open moorland is quite often
overlooked by passing traffic but it has some excellent views all
round so is worth visiting on a clear day.
On the Eastern side, Burrator reservoir can be seen with the
moors beyond and looking South you can see the Breakwater in
Plymouth Sound. The cache is located on the Western side which is
probably the least visited, but there are some fantastic views
looking into Cornwall from here.
Close to the cache are two small pools which are the ideal
location for a picnic and at the time of setting they were teeming
with tadpoles.
There are two sets of parking coordinates, one being quite near the
cache and the other being just over ½ a mile away but with the
better views.
Please make sure it is re-hidden as you find it so it is not
accidentally found.
