Across the water you see BIG ISLAND.This island was a state waterfoul refuge till about the mid 1970s.Not many ducks now but deer and turkeys a abundent.If you have time, like about 3 hours,grab a map and a boat and a lunch and take the ride around BIG ISLAND.Evenings a best to view deer, but anytime you can see ospray eagles, ducks,muskrats,and about every song bird in wisconsin.Its like going back to the 1900s.
