Your hike will take you around an area that is part of a Global ReLeaf project.
Enjoy several different habitats on this three-quarter-mile round trip hike:
First through a stand of pines, then along the edge of the prairie being reforested, and finally into mature hardwood forest before you return to parking.
Please be mindful of creating a "geo-trail" - especially at stage 2. After making the find at stage 2, circle back to the main trail by a differerent route so as to minimize trampling of the vegetation.
