An introduction to Midmar Forest
Midmar Forest is fairly well hidden and quiet, mainly because it's not signposted from the main road. To get there, turn south off the main road opposite Sunhoney Farm.
The walk to the cache is on well made forestry roads. They're steepish in places, but an off-road buggy would make it no bother. Not so sure about the person pushing the buggy though...
The round trip to the cache and back is just over a mile. From near the cache site you can stare over to Barmekin Hill and ponder just when you're going to do the cache which thehaggishunter has put at the top! There's no need to move any rocks to get the cache.
