This cache has been archived.

Nomex: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Geocache Description:

Welcome to a cache by Forthferalz and Rallywrxwagon. This cache is hidden so that it can only be found at night and uses profesional track marking fire tacks to light the way.

Head to the listed co-ordinates, this should put you in a car park at a nice spot to stop on the windy road up the Black Spur. The park has recently undergone a facelift and now has new toilets and BBQ facilities. Perhaps you could have dinner here while you wait for it to get dark. The path from the car park to the cache has been marked with “Firetacks”. These professional trail reflectors are easily seen by a good torch and are best viewed while looking directly along it. I noticed as I drove off that I could see at least 3 of these markers in the lights of the car. Now for the puzzle. These markers only indicate a rough direction for you to travel in. They start out orange and are spaced randomly along the direction you should travel. You should be able to see the next marker as you approach the one closest to you. Once you have been guided through the park the markers will switch to white for the journey up the walking trail. When you are getting close to the final cache you should see a reflective pink ribbon on the left and then at the cache ribbons on both sides. The cache is located at the base of the tree marked with a triangle of fire markers. To make this a night only cache these fire markers are practically invisible in the daytime.

Make sure the kiddies have torches too, as it's lots of fun to see who can find the next marker.

Now for the good stuff, the cache is jam packed with some awesome swaps thanks solely to the generosity of Forthferalz. Make sure you pack your very best swaps, think your favorite CD/DVD not just the ones you don’t like listening to or watching anymore.
