The point of interest of this cache is the hang glider launching area on Big Southern Butte. The cache is near the parking area.
You are looking for a energy drink container with a twist! It is about eye level. There is a road leading to the cache site but it is only open in the summer. The road is best navigated by a high clearance 4x4. Find the road to the top at the North side of the butte. The spot could be hiked to. Be ready to gain about 2000 verticle feet! My gpsr estimated the elevation at 7065 feet! The view is like that out of an airplane window! The hill falls off precipitously so keep little ones close!
