This cache is in West Medicine Lake Park in Plymouth. It is a relatively short distance from the road and parking lot, although there's not a trail leading to the cache. It is on the border of the park, very close to private homes, so please do not trespass onto private property. There are wooden posts that are clearly visible marking where private property begins.
This is the first cache we've placed. It is directly on the 45th Parallel, which is exactly halfway between the equator and the north pole. It was inspired by our recent trip to Greenwich, England, where we found a cache with coordinates located exactly on the Prime Meridian (W 00, 00.000). I am pretty sure about the coordinates.
The cache itself is a very small tupperware-style container which contains a log and has room for a few geocoins or very small items. There is no pencil so please bring your own writing utensil. We've seeded it with a geocoin we found in the Prime Meridian cache. Maybe that geocoin can find its way to other caches with interesting coordinates.
