Geocache Description:

Come out and learn about the Summer 2007 version of Geo-Hot Potato. Gather at Rudy's BBQ on Loop 360 (that's SOUTH) from 12:30 - 2:00.

This is an informal get together where we'll discuss the rules, how the teams are formed, and how people might want to strategize for winning!

We'll gather at Rudy's Country Store and BBQ on the backyard tables around 12:30, so you can grab some lunch there or just bring yourself!

There is no preparation required for this meeting, so even if you aren't sure you want to play, come on out and say hi to your fellow geocachers and maybe meet some new folks!

If you've never heard of Geo-Hot Potato, it's a simple geocaching related game:
  • The object of the game is to keep the Hot Potato (Mr. Hot Potato Head travel bug) in the opposing team's territory as long as possible.
  • When time is up, the team who has had the Hot Potato in their territory for the shortest time wins (and gets bragging rights of course).
  • Teams will be divided along north/south Austin and anyone in the area is welcome to play!

Please be aware...previous games have resulting in sleepless nights, midnight caching runs, investigation by the Secret Service, and lots of fun stories!!!
