Sallagh Braes Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

jingwe: From the last post it appears that the cache was caught in a brush fire and destroyed, so I will archive the listing.

Hopefully I will get a chance to get up there sometime soon and put a replacement out.

Geocache Description:

The Sallagh Braes are a long curving amphitheatre of cliffs looking out over the sea on the Antrim coast, the result of a massive landslip after the ice ages.

The cache is located along a portion of the Ulster Way which runs along the top of these cliffs.

The cache is a medium sized tab lock box, and contains the usual bits and pieces, plus an unregistered set of travel bug tags for the FTF.

You can access it from the north, where there is a car park at N 54° 53.742 W 005° 55.382, and follow the well marked route to the south for a walk of around 1.5 miles each way.

To the south of the cache, the Ulster Way crosses a road at N 54° 52.012 W 005° 54.653, from which the walk north would be .6 miles each way.
