K.L.A.S. Traditional Geocache

While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has been down for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable for the area, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Geocache Description:

This is a night time cache. The above coords are for parking. The cache container is an ammo can. Also my be done in the day light see below

By the Dark of the Moon

This cache has been placed in an area where a strange looking shadowy creature has been seen at night. There can be heard strange sounds like the grinding of teeth and a low growling. Those who have dared to enter the area after dark have heard the breaking of branches but could see nothing except a glowing eye. Some say you can smell a foul odor others say they have sensed a presence near them but could see nothing. We went in search of this creature and all we could do was follow the glowing eye until it disappeared. We marked the spot and went back in the daylight and looked for its den but could not find its exact location. Having followed the glowing eye several times and having it end in the same spot. The thought crossed our minds that if we placed a cache near the last sighting maybe some brave people would come in search of it. Maybe they would spot the creature or perhaps even get a picture of it. When you arrive at the cords look for the glowing eye and follow it cautiously until you see it no more then look for cache. Remember we think the creature has its den near by. We have learned that if you are quiet it will also lead you back to where you first saw it.

For those who do not want to do this at night. Park at the above coords and go to N45 28.517 W084 37.294 to locate the coords to the cache

We are not responsible for your out come. Cache is on private property with the owners’ permission.

Be sure to bring a good flashlight. The cache is along the route. When you find it the creature will reappear simply follow him to the end. Do go back the way you came.it is the easiest path
