This is a multi-stage cache that is only available Mon-Thurs 9am-9pm, Fri 9am-5pm, Sat 10am-5pm or Sat 10-2pm (summer hours), and Sun-closed.
The posted coords will take you to an area in Shippensburg where a passenger railroad station of the Western Maryland Railroad once operated. In 1936, the railroad agreed to lease the station to the establishment that now resides at your final GZ. This set up was unique enough to be featured in Ripley's "Believe it or Not." On Dec. 9, 1957, this building opened it's doors to the public at it's present location.
The final cache has some room for trade items, but we would like to limit it to geocoins only. We have stocked the cache with 6 coins to start. One will be a personal geocoin (Caching with Kids) that we are launching from here. Hope you enjoy this cache as much as we did creating it! Happy Hunting!!!!
