Geocache Description:

Little Stone Church
One of the most photographed and recognizable landmarks in the Jordan Valley, this little stone church is formally known as St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church. Founded in 1885 it is named for the patron saint of Czechoslovakia. It continues as an active church with priests from surrounding areas rotating in for Mass weekly. It is designated as a Michigan Historic Site and has an historical plaque with additional information. The cache is away from the building so as not to disturb or disrupt any worshipers. Please be respectful and avoid times when there are services in progress.
