Geocache Description:

short downward climb

Lake Winter was formed by daming the Brunet (pronounced
Bru ne)River. The Brunet River flows from the Chequamegon National Forest into Lake Winter, a class A Musky Lake. The Brunet continues to flow into the Chippewa River.
The cache is a large plastic container with log book, pencils and trade items.
Parking is available at the boat landing off Dam Rd.
