Rust Bucket #2 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Goudacat: We visited the area and sure enough, both rust buckets are gone. Amazingly enough, the cache container was still there, hidden under some wood at the base of the closest tree. We retrieved the container so we can re-hide it somewhere else.

Those two rust buckets have probably been there for decades. Hard to believe that we put a cache in one and they are hauled off within a matter of months. (Not that we are complaining, they should not have been there in the first place.)

Thanks to everybody who visited the cache, especially lucyandrickie who rehid the container for us and logscaler and Red who notified us that the rust buckets had been hauled off.

Geocache Description:

Easy dash and cache on a dirt road off of Hwy. 58. We drove our Prius right up to the cache, which means just about any low clearance car should be able to make it. Cache is a small candy tin, approximately 5"x5"x2".

There are some things out in the woods that just shouldn't be there. Sometimes they are just plain ugly, sometimes they are kind of cool. This cache series will take you to some of each. All caches are located within easy reach. There is no reason to enter any of the rust buckets. Enjoy!
