Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Bull Creek Wildlife Management Area. It is jointly managed by FWC and SJRWMD. I thank Doug Voltolina at SJRWMD for granting permission for this hide. You are seeking a decon container.

You can expect to hike ~2.5 miles each way from the north. You can either travel ~.75 mile south along Levee 73 from the northern parking lot before the trail enters the woods at the Jane Green campsite or you can access the Florida Trail near the parking area.

Bull Creek WMA comprises more than 23,000 acres in eastern Osceola County, near the town of Holopaw. Numerous streams intersect the forest. There are excellent hiking opportunities on the area, including a segment of the Florida National Scenic Trail. Hunting, fishing, wildlife viewing, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, and paddling are among the many recreational activities available on Bull Creek. Camping is allowed at the designated campground during hunting seasons, and year round for through hikers at designated sites along the Florida Trail. Levee 73 is open for hiking and bicycling.
