Located in a community park, a short walk from the parking area. The cache is hidden not far off the trail.
Eagle's may be watching and walking near this cache location. Many Eagles and Eaglets on foot migrate by this area in the mornings and afternoons. So please be careful of this high muggle activity during those times and do not disturb the Eagles on their way to and from their Eagle classrooms. You may also see a flying eagle; they are occasional visitors to this area.
The park is only open during the day so no night caching, please.
The cache is a large ammo can stocked with a lot of items, mostly for kids. The location is a short walk around a large pond, so bring a rod if you want to mix in some fishing with your hunt. There is also a nice place to sit and take in the scenery not too far from the cache site.
This will be a nice cache to pick up on the way to many more at Rye Park.
Please keep the area clean (CITO), and rehide the cache well so it's fun for the next geocachers. This is our first hide, so please feel free to share comments that will help us enhance the experience.
