Beaver Brook Redux Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Theseus: I tried without success to contact the park supervisor to see if by chance someone had turned the cache in. Evidently my perception that the final location was secure enough was incorrect so I am archiving for now, which gives me a bit of the blues. This is a great little park so I would expect a new cache before too long (either placed by me or another cacher).

Geocache Description:

Beaver Brook Reservation was established in 1893 on 59 acres of fields, wetlands, and woodlands. The cache has two parts, both of which reside in the north section of the park (parking is off of Mill St). The park is open dawn to dusk and pooches are most welcome.

I placed my first cache, Beaver Brook Multi, in December of 2003. After 127 finds I thought it was time to refresh the park with a brand new cache. Like its predecessor, this is a short, two-stage multi. Also like its predecessor, stage one is a well-hidden micro - follow your geosense and you should zero in on it. The final is a lock-n-lock in a likely spot. Beware poison ivy, which grows along the trail in many places. And enjoy the wildlife, which is plentiful. As you approach the final be on the lookout for the giant heron that lives nearby - he (she?) is magnificent.

This cache series was placed with permission from the park supervisor.
