This cache is situated in Ferndene Park, Ryton and consists of a small clear container containing the usual items.
The Park is open from 7.30am until dusk so if planning to do this cache in the evening, please bear this in mind.
The park is well used by the residents of Ryton and includes a tots play area, an older children's play area, a bowling green, french boules pitch, tennis courts, 5-a-side area and a collection of budgies.
Parking is available at Somerfield carpark (N54 58.348, W001 45.569) and the park entrance is straight across the road from here.
From the cache it is possible to exit out of the bottom of the park and continue on to do the 'Pinfold' cache.
