From camp, head toward the peak. The terrain is steep but
managable. Our nearly 4 year old son made it to the cache site.
While floating along the John Day River, there are two campsites
near this cache which make a good short day after putting in at the
Service Creek boat ramp. The cache is in an ammo can with a log
book and pen. Original treasure contents are Jackie-O sunglasses
found in camp and three toy cars.
