An ammo can hidden behind a local outdoors store.
This is my favorite outdoors store in Jackson. It is not a hunting/fishing-focused place like most in town, although I go to those spots when I need those kinds of things. It’s more of a hiking/camping/canoeing/kayaking/backpacking/biking/rappelling/discgolf kind of place. They carry very high quality outdoor gear like North Face, Patagonia, Columbia, Mountain Hardware, and so on. They also carry a few GPSr units and are familiar with geocaching. It’s a great place to go to get your gear. The cache is hidden here with their knowledge and permission.
As for the cache, it is an ammo can hidden behind the store. You’ll understand the name once you find the cache. There is no need to climb down in the ditch, so don’t do it. There is also no reason to go digging in or around the dumpster. I wouldn’t do that to you! So you figure it out from there… Have fun!
