Team Double A: What the locals who hang out here havent destroyed, the brambles have. The whole area is turning into a vast wasteland/landfill. Time to let this one go. If anyone wants to try to set one up in here, i would take a walk thru first. It is not the same anymore. Thanks to all who have found it and sorry to all of those who wasted their time - TDA

Geocache Description:

This is a small Lock and Lock hidden by Halls Pond. This should be an easy find, but if the weather is good during the day then muggles will be a problem. At night even though the park is supposed to be off limits there is a chance of running into Americas youth hanging out.

A lovely 11-acre park with a 5.5-acre pond at its center, Halls Pond is a popular local setting for quiet walks and concerts in season. The West Hempstead Civic Association plays an important role in maintaining the park and planning events. Hall's Pondis one of several County properties that were orginally designed for draingage purposes and were later turned into public parks.
