Ammo box is located just off PCT along lower Echo Lake between Flagpole Peak and the knoll the locals call "Dumbo". At the cache area there is a short climb off the trail up to the cache. The closest access to the trail is at the Echo Lake Chalet. About .8 mi further up trail is Red Hill cache (GCYMFN)
Don't forget... but if you did, maybe you can find what you need in the cache: TP, bandaids, match container, bug repellent, flashlight on a caribiner, chapstick. Feel free to add other useful items.
