Geocache Description:

This cache was inspired by my 8 year old daughter and her Girl Scout Troop. This is a "Cache-In/Trash-Out" concept we decided to do in honor of Earth Day.

We recently discovered this wonderful public land preserve in Indianola. There are over 112 acres of Forest, recreation, shoreline and wetlands.

My daughter decided that THIS was the place she wanted to put her "Earth Day" cache to help remind people to "clean up the earth no matter where they go". Together, with her troop, they were able to carry away about 10 large bags of garbage AND an old tire or two off of the beach. Let's see what YOU can do to help cleen up our waves!

This is a large lock-n-lock container, (the original one was replaced because of all the DNF's). It has enough room for a few TB's, some trash bags and my daughters favorites like Pokemon, Bella Sara and Webkins cards.
The original contents of this cache contains:

Log and Pen
Megan's Earth Day TB
New pack of Pokemon cards for the FTF!
Trash Bags
Geotoys
Fisherman TB

It would REALLY REALLY make Megan happy if you could pick up some trash while out on your caching expeditions... and send us a pic! Come on everyone... help us keep our earth clean and let's see some junk! :-)

If you keep walking after you find the cache... you might discover something you like even better!

******(6/26) The cache got a face lift today! New container.. new hiding spot... new TB... new coords...new clue! Good luck! This is now within ARMS reach of the trail so PLEASE do not bushwack
