Joachim Creek is one of only eight healthy stream systems in Jefferson, St. Louis, and St. Charles counties. It borders the south side of the park, and passes through the eastern section of the park.
During the dry season, the creek level gets pretty low, but it does flow year round. In the spring, it is prone to flash-flooding.
The cache is a 2-quart round container large enough to hold travel bugs and small items. PLEASE replace everything back as you found it if not better.
Designated parking is available approximately 125 feet from the cache. Please do not park along the road or on the grass.
For the FTF, there is a John Adams gold dollar coin.
