Hutton Mill Bridge was erected in 1837 and later re-erected in
1878. The lattice girder deck was replaced by a more modern
construction in 1985. The bridge is an impressive structure tucked
away in a beautiful but little-visited corner of Berwickshire. Take
the time to walk across the bridge and enjoy the lovely views of
the River Whiteadder.
Parking is limited near the bridge but it should be possible to
find a safe spot to leave the car while approaching the cache.
GPS reception was a bit erratic because of trees close to the
cache but this should not be too difficult a find.
