Another adventurous trek through the beautiful Oregon Dunes.
You'll want to start this one at Dellenback trailhead. From the
trailhead and back, this 5 part multi will require a hike of nearly
10 miles through the Oregon Dunes. The entire area is closed to
motorized vehicles. Plan your time, water and energy accordingly.
Summer afternoons can get incredibly windy, so get an early start
if possible. During early mornings and late evenings, the beauty
and serenity of the area really shines. Inside the cache container
and logbook will be written the coordinates for the next container,
and so on. In order to get credit for this cache, you must sign the
log at all 5 locations. First finder can claim the certificate at
the last stage. Enjoy your visit!
*Dellenback trailhead parking lot is closed and locked after
dark. If you are doing this as an evening hike, make sure to park
elsewhere. At the north junction into Lakeside is a good
alternate*
