Although you can park within .2 miles of the cache, actually
getting to it will require a little bit of a walk. The hike itself
was very nice, not strenuous at all and should be pretty mudfree,
even after a rain. Didn't see any today but this is definitely a
place where you might encounter some of those wild critters that
make some of us cringe. Snakes and gators would top my list for
sure. No skeeters out today but i would imagine that they can be
plentiful at times. Camera and/or binoculars are definitely a must
as you never know what interesting things you might come across
while out here.
We're thinking that finding this one will be a snap once you
arrive to the area. Bring stuff to trade if you wish but the main
thing is to be sure and sign the log while there. We would
recommend bringing your hiking stick, some liguid refreshment, good
shoes or boots, and your GPSR for finding this one. One last thing,
this area does close in the late afternoon so be sure and plan to
visit during the daylight hours.
We hope you enjoy the cache and exploring the area.
Goodluck!
OH OH OH,,, We
forgot to mention that there is a first finder's prize. You'll find
a small certificate in the cache so be sure to grab it and follow
the instructions to claim your prize.
