Geocache Description:


This is another Trumbull Park you didn't know existed. Mischee Brook Park is located off Huntington Turnpike in Trumbull. It can be accessed by Booth Hill road or Huntigton Turnpike. There are no signs the park is there and no signs of parking. There are a couple of "spots" off the side of the road. I am partial to N41 15.603 W073 10.075, on Old Green Road, right in front off the "watch for children" sign. This is also a few yards away from the trail head marked by a poll that reads only TRAIL.

This a great park to hike in because aside from the trail the area is pure wildlife. Great birds, majestic trees, and great plantlife. The first few 100 feet are little creepy but then the trail opens up.

While you are hiking there are several paths you can take, I suggest seeing them all. Particularly if you go straight and see the white chair with the make shift shelter. I am thinking of incorporating a ghost story into a cache near there...It is a little spooky...only one chair facing the woods!!!!

You are looking for a decon container packed with goodies. FTF gets 2 scratch tickets and a Geocache bumper sticker. There is also a TB that desperately needs to get going on its mission. (please ignore the cache name on the sticker)
Due to the nature of the nature in the park the cache is not far from the trail and requires very little bushwacking. Please cover it up when you return it.
Please use a powerful bug spray, I had 40 deet on and got away with only a few bites.
