A 7 kms there and back walk from Old Glossop on tracks and grassy paths. Height gain 319 mtrs.
Park car at Old Glossop near the Firth Rixson works at SK 0458.9483. Follow the track heading east until you arrive at the first gate. Take the gate on the left and head up
Lightside and follow the path to Dog Rock. The cache is hidden in a rocky area near to Dog Rock. The site is near a small sheltered area between the rocks - a good coffee stop!
There are good views to Shelf Benches and Dowstone Clough.
