A short 175m walk on the 'other side' of the thames. Last 25-30m involves some moderate 'shwackin'.
The pumphouse in Springbank park is one of our favorite local picnic spots. It is a great spot to bring a lunch and dangle your feet, watching the ducks, geese and fisherman.
Parking can be found on Hyde Park road(dead end) at N42 57.662 W081 18.772
This cache is designed to give you a different view of the pumphouse. Located just off the shore across the river from the pumphouse, you can walk right down to the shore's edge, providing a great view and some pretty good photo ops.
(The cache itself doesn't require you to go onto the shore, but if you do venture onto the shore's edge please be careful, especially in the springtime as the water levels can and do change)
